Seed Starting and Bulb Division
Saturday, January 31, 2015
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
$15 per person
At the Quitman Arboretum
Join us Saturday, January 31, for a 3 hour hands-on workshop on the techniques for starting seeds and dividing bulbs. You'll learn about selecting seeds, soil mixtures, lighting, temperature, and timing. We'll also cover propagating different types of bulbs, tubers, and rhizomes--both edible and flowering. You'll take home samples that you create at the workshop.
The $15 registration fee includes all the handouts and materials you'll use as well as a refreshment break mid-session.
Seating is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. We must receive your registration no later than January 25.
Click here to access the registration form, then mail it to the Arboretum (the address is on the form) with your registration fee. You can also drop your form off at the Arboretum any Wednesday morning while our volunteers are on-site.
